Addverb to Increase Robot Production by 10 Times in India

Addverb, a global robotics company in India that automates interlogistics operations and turns businesses future-ready, plans to boost its output around 10 times in the next financial year to expand its robot manufacturing unit in India.

Currently, the company has already commenced upon international operations in Singapore, Australia and Europe. Its next target is the US to start its operations before the year ends.

The company has a production facility in Noida that opened in March and has the potential to produce more than 50,000 robots of various varieties each year.

Addverb will also establish micro-factories in areas where demand is expected to increase.

The global robotics market was valued at $ 27.73 billion in 2020, according to the company, and is predicted to reach $ 74.1 billion by 2026.

By 2025, the company wants to be one of the top five worldwide robotics companies.

Reliance, Flipkart, Amazon, Hindustan Unilever, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Future Supply Chain, Marico, and others are among Addverb's customers, according to the company.

Addverb is trying to increase its manufacturing capabilities and is planning to build the world's largest robot manufacturing facility in India, which will nearly tenfold Addverb's capacities by the next fiscal year.

Earlier this year, the company established its first manufacturing unit in Noida which is about 2.5 acres of land with a manufacturing capacity of over 50,000 various types of robots a year.

Similar to its other units, this unit will also have the manufacturing of different types of robots as well. To name a few, this includes sortation robots and dynamo robots which are both transparent and then co-bots and shuttles including pallet shuttles and carton shuttles, etc.

"This facility is an ultra-modern manufacturing facility where we will use our own robots to produce more robots. All these products that we produce will have digital twins. There will be a virtual copy which will be stored and as and when manufacturing progresses, this virtual copy also gets enriched in what is happening in the physical system. When it goes to the customer, we also keep on taking data to ensure that our products keep on running reliably at our customers' place”, says Sangeet Kumar, Founder & CEO, Addverb Technologies.

The company is said to be a one-of-a-kind manufacturing hub that employs about 450 workforce.

Addverb Technologies, which was founded in 2016, has expedited the process for many of the country's largest retailers with its unique products and solutions. Addverb Technologies has created a global footprint by acquiring customers in Europe, South-East Asia, and Australia since its launch in 2016. Its clients include Amazon, Flipkart, and Asian Paints, to mention a few. In addition, Addverb Technologies has 100 percent subsidiary companies in Singapore, Australia, and the Netherlands.
