With over 300,000 corporate clients globally, Anthropic reports that approximately 80 percent of Claude's consumer adoption occurs outside American borders. Companies in India are already utilizing Claude's functionalities for diverse applications, including the AI coding platform Emergent, as noted by the organization. Through Claude integration, Emergent has successfully made app development more accessible via its "vibe coding" system and represents a notable AI implementation success within India.
Anthropic is investing heavily in enhancing Claude’s Indic language capabilities. The model already supports major Indian languages, and the company plans to launch enhanced performance in Hindi for consumer interfaces. It is also prioritizing training in nearly a dozen additional languages, including Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, and Urdu.
