Cowin Dashboard: India's Vaccination Coverage Exceeds 143.83 Crore

According to provisional statistics, India's COVID-19 vaccination coverage has surpassed 143.83 Cr (1,43,83,22,742) in the previous 24 hours, with 63,91,282 vaccine doses administered. This was accomplished after 1,53,47,226 sessions.

In the last 24 hours, 7,486 people have recovered, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 3,42,58,778 since the outbreak began.

As a result, India's recovery rate is 98.38 percent.

Sustained and collaborative efforts by the Centre and the States/UTs have maintained the trend of less than 15,000 Daily New Cases for the past 63 days.

In the previous 24 hours, 13,154 new cases have been reported.

The number of active cases in India is now at 82,402. Active cases account for 0.24 percent of all Positive Cases in the country.

Covid protocols in practically every state have been altered to include night curfews, limiting the number of individuals in public, social events, and limiting new year celebrations in response to Omicron concerns

The testing capacity in the US continues to grow. A total of 11,99,252 tests were performed in the last 24 hours. In total, India has undertaken around 67.64 Cr (67,64,45,395) tests.

Despite increased testing capacity across the country, the Weekly Positivity Rate of 0.76 percent has remained below one percent for the past 46 days. 1.10 percent was stated as the Daily Positivity rate. For the past 87 days, the daily Positivity rate has been below two percent, and for the past 122 days, it has been below three percent.

The Centre has increased door-to-door vaccinations to meet the goal of vaccinating 100 percent of the population who are eligible for the vaccine.

People between the ages of 18 and 44 have received 49,76,01,405 first doses and 32,67,56,163 second doses.

The first dose has been delivered to 19,40,91,039 persons aged 45 to 59, while the second dose has been administered to 14,90,18,597 people aged 45 to 59.

The first dosage of the vaccine was administered to 12,11,54,096 old adults (over the age of 60), whereas the second dose was administered to 9,43,50,863 people.

In the midst of this, Delhi released new guidelines regulating the closure of cinema halls and gyms, as well as limiting the opening of markets on an odd-even basis, limiting weddings to just 20 people, and requiring 50% occupancy in public transportation, including metro and buses.
