Digantara Inks Pact with Singapore's Defense Arm
India's space startup Digantara Industries has joined hands with Singapore's defence arm to develop tools to protect their national satellites from collision with space debris.
Bengaluru's Digantara Industries asserted that this marked the first occasion where Singapore's defense sector was formalizing a pact with an Indian space-tech firm.
Under the terms of the agreement, Digantara and Singapore's Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) will collaboratively create tools related to Space Situational Awareness (SSA) to assist the National Space Agency of Singapore.
"The key factor is granting them sovereign control over the solutions we develop, allowing the Singapore government to locally implement and utilize our solutions to fulfill their space domain awareness operations, including satellite operations," states Anirudh Sharma, founder and CEO of Digantara Industries.

The collaboration was revealed during the Space Summit 2026 in Singapore on Monday.
Sharma mentioned that his firm would offer services to the DSTA related to flight dynamics and access to conjunction screening if a Singapore satellite nears an orbiting debris.
“Our service will assist them in receiving alerts and conducting sustainable space operations without concerns about collisions in space,” Sharma stated.
