The famous blue bird logo, which has served as a home button on the web version of the microblogging site, has been replaced by the doge meme of the Dogecoin cryptocurrency by Twitter CEO Elon Musk yet again.

This week, Twitter users discovered the doge meme, which is a component of the Dogecoin blockchain and cryptocurrency logo and was made as a joke in 2013.

The Shiba Inu-faced doge meme, which Musk also shared on his account, depicts him in the automobile advising the policeman who appears to be looking at his driver's license that his picture has been changed.

Notably, the Twitter mobile app remained unchanged.

It's important to note that the Shiba Inu doge image serves as the well-known logo of the Dogecoin blockchain and cryptocurrency, which was developed in 2013 as a joke to parody other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.

After Musk tweeted in March 2022, prior to mounting his eventually successful bid to buy Twitter, "Given that Twitter serves as the de facto public town square, failing to adhere to free speech principles fundamentally undermines democracy. What should be done?" Musk tweeted.

The screenshot of the interaction between the anonymous account and Twitter's CEO from March 26, 2022, in which the latter requested that the bird logo be changed to the doge, was also released by the company's CEO.

Sharing this post on Twitter, Musk wrote, "As promised."

Musk, who invested $44 billion to acquire Twitter last fall, is a well-known superfan of the Doge meme and has pushed Dogecoin on Twitter and while presenting "Saturday Night Live" last year.

Dogecoin's value increased by almost 20 percent this week after Twitter's web logo changed.

After Musk tweeted in March 2022, prior to mounting his eventually successful bid to buy Twitter, "Given that Twitter serves as the de facto public town square, failing to adhere to free speech principles fundamentally undermines democracy. What should be done?" Musk tweeted.

Another image with the caption "Seize the Memes of Production" had also been posted by him.

Earlier, on February 15, Musk tweeted a picture of the Dogecoin blockchain and cryptocurrency logo on his account while posing as the CEO and writing, "The new CEO of Twitter is great," demonstrating his appreciation for the "doge" cryptocurrency.
