Google announces that Flight Deals, its new AI-driven search feature in Google Flights, will be launched in the US, Canada, and India over the coming week.

In making this announcement, a Google blogpost stated that Flight Deals is tailored for adaptable travellers whose main objective is to save on their upcoming journey.

In the coming week, 'Flight Deals' will be launched in the US, Canada, and India, and no opt-in will be required, it added.

The option is available on the Flight Deals page or through the top-left menu in Google Flights, the search engine designed to assist users in locating and comparing airline fares.

"Rather than experimenting with various dates, locations, and filters to find the best offers, you can simply explain when, where, and how you want to travel -- as if conversing with a friend -- and Flight Deals will handle everything else," it stated.

For instance, it noted that a person can begin by looking for inquiries such as "this winter, a week-long journey to a city known for its excellent cuisine, nonstop flights only" or "a 10-day skiing adventure at a top-tier resort with fresh snowfall".

"You'll discover the top deals that align with your search, including places you might not have thought of before," it stated.

Flight Deals utilizes Google's sophisticated AI to grasp the subtleties of user preferences and pinpoint suitable destinations. Subsequently, it utilizes real-time Google Flights information to swiftly showcase pertinent, current choices from numerous airlines and booking platforms.

"We're launching Flight Deals in beta to gather feedback and explore how AI can improve travel planning. But we know you love the original Google Flights, and that's here to stay (in fact, it will keep getting better: we're adding a new option to exclude basic economy fares for trips in the US and Canada)," it said.
