Gujarat to become a Major Hub for High-Tech Manufacturing
          Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw claims that Dholera city in Gujarat will transform into a significant center for advanced manufacturing with nearly all nations, worldwide monitoring India's semiconductor industry and the state's developments.
A high-level meeting was convened in Gandhinagar by the Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology to assess the advancement of semiconductor and display fab initiatives in Gujarat. The meeting included Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, and Science & Technology Minister Arjun Modhwadia, as stated in a release from the state government.
In the meeting, he was given a comprehensive overview of the current state government initiatives concerning power, water, logistics, and social infrastructure, along with rail, road, and air connectivity for semiconductor projects such as Tata, Micron, and CG Semicon being set up in Dholera and Sanand.

Conveying certainty that Dholera will rapidly evolve into a key hub for advanced manufacturing, Vaishnaw stated, "Nearly every nation globally is watching India's and Gujarat's semiconductor sector, with Dholera being specifically emphasized concerning the semiconductor industry."

It is essential for related departments to maintain coordination and proceed with time-bound planning focused on developing the semiconductor sector

He guaranteed that relevant departments of the Central and state governments are accessible around the clock to offer needed assistance to semiconductor companies.
"People have immense confidence that India will soon emerge as a global leader in the semiconductor sector. It is essential for related departments to maintain coordination and proceed with time-bound planning focused on developing the semiconductor sector," Patel said.
