HCL Technologies Expands Strategic Investment with Microsoft

HCL Technologies announced expansion of its strategic investment with Microsoft to bring back security capabilities to clients worldwide.

According to reports, Identity and Access Management Advanced Specialization, Threat Protection Advanced Specialization, Information Governance and Protection Advanced Specialization and Cloud Security Advanced Specialization, are the four domains on Microsoft Azure that HCL Tech had completed.

Additionally, HCL Technologies announced that it has joined Microsoft Intelligent Security Association, an ecosystem of independent software vendors and managed security service providers, who have integrated their solutions to better defend against a world of increasing threats.

The combination of HCL Technologies’ cybersecurity fusion platform solutions and deep domain knowledge, along with Microsoft’s range of security products like Azure Sentinel and Microsoft 365 E5, gives organizations the building blocks to better defend against a dynamic cybersecurity environment, as per reports.

Recently, HCL Technologies doubled its fresher hiring for the upcoming financial year (FY23) as attrition continues to inch up. The company said that it will hire 40,000-45,000 freshers for FY23, up from 20,000-22,000 targets for FY22.

The company also stated that to ease supply-side constraints and to have access to diversify skills, it was expanding into other geographies over the next three-four quarters.
