HCLTech to Acquire Finergic for $ 14.88 Million

HCLTech declared that it has entered into a definitive agreement to purchase Finergic Solutions for $14.88 million. The boutique consulting firm based in Singapore specializes in the transformation of core banking and wealth management.

The deal is anticipated to finalize by April 30, 2026, pending standard regulatory approvals and closing requirements. The financial specifics of the agreement were not revealed.

Established in 2019, Finergic focuses on transformation strategy, consulting, and wealth architecture for financial institutions, maintaining a robust presence in international markets. The purchase intends to improve HCLTech’s digital transformation skills in the wealth management and financial services sector.

HCLTech noted that combining Finergic’s specialized knowledge with its worldwide reach is anticipated to enhance operational efficiencies and boost service provision for wealth management customers. The IT services giant based in Noida has over 25 years of experience delivering services to global financial institutions and aids more than 40 banks around the world.

Srinivasan Seshadri, Chief Growth Officer and Global Head - Financial Services at HCLTech, stated, "With Finergic's specialized knowledge, HCLTech is well-placed to enhance its digital service offerings in wealth management."

In the past, HCLTech purchased HPE’s Telco Solutions division for $160 million, acquired AI startup Wobby for $5.2 million, and Jaspersoft for $240 million

“This groundbreaking deal allows us to provide enhanced capabilities, promote innovation, and reveal significant synergies—enabling our clients to achieve improved business results throughout the financial services sector,” he stated.

Finergic's co-founders—Ganesh Swaminathan, Saravanan Kandaswamy, and Senthil Kumar Sekar—stated that partnering with HCLTech would allow the company to expand its capabilities and generate new growth prospects for its team. They emphasized a strong alignment in vision and complementary strengths shared by both organizations.
