Headsup B2B Private Limited (“Headsup B2B”), a B2B infrastructure and industrial goods marketplace, has partnered with StrideOne, an RBI-registered NBFC and embedded-finance platform, to offer working capital financing to eligible buyers on its platform. Under the partnership, buyers can access short-term, invoice-backed credit for purchases made through the platform.

The partnership is aimed at addressing a common working capital requirement among businesses, where payments from customers may be received after materials have been purchased for projects or operations. Under the arrangement, eligible buyers can access financing against approved invoices linked to transactions on the platform.

The offering will be available to established and creditworthy MSMEs and mid-market businesses, including contractors, EPC companies and manufacturers. The initial focus will be on Delhi NCR, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Bihar, with plans to expand to other markets and sectors.

Under the partnership, StrideOne will provide the financing infrastructure and access to its lender network, while Headsup B2B will make the financing option available to eligible buyers on its platform. The arrangement allows buyers to access financing against transactions made through the platform, rather than arranging working capital separately.

For Headsup B2B, the partnership is expected to support transaction volumes by enabling eligible buyers to finance purchases made on the platform. The company will initially focus on its existing qualified buyer base, with expansion based on buyer adoption, utilization and repayment performance.

Sumit Kumar, Founder and Director, Headsup B2B says, “For many businesses, particularly MSMEs and project-driven companies, there can be a gap between when they need to purchase materials and when they receive payments from their customers. Our partnership with StrideOne brings financing into the procurement journey, giving eligible buyers greater flexibility to manage that gap. We see this as an important step towards supporting businesses as they manage their procurement and working capital needs.”
