India ahead in Digital Revolution: Bill Gates
Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, stated that India is leading in the digital revolution and acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for their significant contributions.
Gates, who spoke with Naidu and engaged with ministers and officials, praised the CM's vision, stating that he stands out in his forward-thinking among global leaders, as reported.
"India is leading in the digital transformation, with both Prime Minister (Narendra Modi) and Chief Minister (Naidu) playing vital roles in this revolution," according to reports.
He also mentioned that even in developed nations, technology is not being utilized in agriculture, while Andhra Pradesh leads in employing modern farming tools.
The Gates Foundation has prioritized the health sector and has undertaken most health projects, he emphasized, highlighting the necessity of providing health services to everyone.
He valued the Sanjeevani health initiative underway with the Gates Foundation in Kuppam, Andhra.
He commended the disaster management services employing technology to mitigate loss of life and property during natural disasters.
In response to a query from ministers, Bill Gates mentioned that since Chandrababu Naidu advocated for IT, most IT professionals originated from Hyderabad and Microsoft employs most experts from the Telugu states, according to reports.

The chief minister explained the methods the government uses to gather public feedback on programs and initiatives, and noted that the increase in GSDP is frequently assessed using key performance indicators.
The statement indicated that Gates inquired about the security of property records, to which Naidu responded that blockchain technology is being utilized to safeguard land records, alongside the incorporation of QR codes for transparency.

Gates also asked about the Sanjeevani project, a health record digitization initiative being conducted with the Gates Foundation in Kuppam, Chittoor district. The statement indicated he inquired about the recording of parameters like blood sugar, diabetes, and other medical tests, and expressed appreciation for the project's good execution.
