IndiGo, Adani Airports Partner for BluChips on Duty-Free Shopping

IndiGo and Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) have revealed a strategic alliance allowing IndiGo BluChip members to accumulate rewards on duty-free purchases at AAHL-operated airports.

Through the partnership, members can accumulate five IndiGo BluChips for every Rs.100 spent on duty-free items pre-booked via the Adani platform.

Travelers can explore, book, and pay for items online prior to departure and conveniently pick up their orders at the airport.

Our collaboration with IndiGo unites India's biggest airline with the nation's largest private airport operator to provide a more connected and fulfilling travel retail experience.

Clients can access a specific portal, connect their IndiGo BluChip membership ID, and obtain their rewards within 24-48 hours after finalizing their purchase based on their expenditures.

The program seeks to provide a more seamless travel experience by integrating digital ease, rewards advantages, and airport shopping, enhancing the journey overall.

Duty-free shops under the program are now present at airports in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Jaipur, Mangaluru, and Lucknow, with plans for expansion at Lokapriya Gopinath Bardoloi International Airport (LGBIA) in Guwahati and the newly opened Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA).

IndiGo conducts over 2,000 flights each day, linking more than 140 destinations globally, consisting of over 95 domestic and more than 40 international locations, establishing it as India's largest airline in terms of fleet size and passenger volume.

AAHL manages eight airports in India, such as Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Jaipur, Guwahati, and Thiruvananthapuram, in addition to Navi Mumbai, a major greenfield airport in India that commenced commercial operations on December 25, 2025.

Collectively, these airports manage hundreds of millions of travelers each year, establishing AAHL as the largest private airport infrastructure entity in India.
