Infosys Signs Five Year Contract with Smart Europe GmbH

Infosys announced that it has entered into a five-year partnership with leading electric car maker smart Europe GmbH to enhance the latter's D2C business model in Europe.

Infosys helps EV manufacturers increase digital sales and improve customer experience.

In its filing with BSE, the company said it will offer better customer experience, data customization and commitment to existing electric car models like Smart No. 1, Smart No. 3 and other upcoming all-electric models from the iconic brand.

Smart Europe GmbH is a 100 percent owned subsidiary of Smart Automobile, founded to supply, sell and service the smart vehicles of the future on the European market. Smart Automobile is a 50/50 joint venture between Mercedes-Benz AG and Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, established in 2019.

Through this strategic collaboration, Infosys smart Europe GmbH will help redefine the online shopping experience for electric cars and apply cutting-edge machine learning (ML) models to accurately predict sales and after-sales demand.

Infosys was chosen to assist the top electric car maker in this transformation due to its deep expertise in integrating car sales and e-commerce processes and systems. Infosys also helps smart Europe GmbH effectively sell electric vehicles in 15 European countries through a D2C sales approach and a strong commitment to lead generation, lead conversion, sales and after-sales channels, complemented by full ownership and accountability.
