Komaki Electric Vehicles announced the debut of its first battery-powered cruiser motorcycle Ranger and e-scooter Venice in the domestic market, with prices starting at Rs 1.68 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom).

The two new vehicle models, which were unveiled on the company's website, will be available starting January 26 at all Komaki dealerships.

Rs 1.68 lakh is the price of the Komaki Ranger (ex-showroom). This price includes a variety of accessories that the company will include with the electric bike. The Komaki Ranger will be available in Garnet Red, Deep Blue, and Jet Black color options at all of the company's dealerships.

The price tag on Komaki Venice is Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom). The included accessories are also included in the price. There will be nine color variations available.

“While the premiumness is something that we've kept in mind a lot while developing both Ranger and Venice, we have made a very sincere attempt to make sure that they are accessible to all the segments of the Indian market”, he adds

The Komaki Ranger appears like any other petrol cruiser motorcycle, with its huge round headlamp, tall handlebar, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, split step-up seat, rear backrest, and panniers. It is, however, the first electric cruiser motorcycle in India.

The bike is powered by a 4 kWh battery and a 4000W electric motor capable of producing 5.36 horsepower. The electric bike, according to the company, has a range of 180 to 220 km per charge. Additionally, the Ranger has the largest battery and electric motor currently available in a two-wheeler in the country.

A Bluetooth sound system, single-pod instrument cluster, side stand sensor, cruise control, anti-theft lock system, and various accessories are among the bike's additional features.

The Komaki Venice is an electric scooter with a retro design that includes a round headlamp, chrome mirrors, split seats, and safety guards. The electric scooter is powered by a 2.9 kWh battery pack and a 3 kW electric motor capable of producing 4 bhp of power.

The Venice electric scooter, according to the company, will have a battery life of up to 120 km per charge. A self-diagnosis system, mobile charging port, regenerative braking system, anti-theft lock system, reversing assist, and a rear-mounted storage box are among the scooter's other features.

“I am extremely happy to announce that Ranger and Venice are finally ready for the Indian market. We have claimed a permanent spot in history by creating India's first-ever electric cruiser. This is something that motorcycle enthusiasts have been calling for”, says Gunjan Malhotra, Director, Komaki Electric Division.

“While the premiumness is something that we've kept in mind a lot while developing both Ranger and Venice, we have made a very sincere attempt to make sure that they are accessible to all the segments of the Indian market”, he adds.
