Food delivery and e-commerce platform magicpin has announced the global launch of its AI-powered merchant assistant, Vera, across six international markets—the United States, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The company plans to expand the AI assistant into additional countries over the coming months as part of its broader global growth strategy.

Initially introduced in India during the recent LPG crisis, Vera was designed to help restaurants and retailers respond to fluctuating demand by providing real-time insights into order volumes and operational trends. The AI assistant enables merchants to optimize staffing, inventory, and order management, allowing businesses to make faster, data-driven decisions.

Anshoo Sharma, CEO and Co-Founder of magicpin says, "This marks only the onset of our worldwide adventure. Vera's expansion into additional international markets is on our agenda, and we will keep investing in multi-lingual features, region-specific insights, and AI-driven merchant processes."

To support the development of its AI capabilities, magicpin has committed an investment of $1 million toward strengthening its AI infrastructure, with Vera serving as a key component of the initiative.

During its international pilot phase, Vera recorded more than 82,000 AI-powered interactions, reflecting strong demand for AI-enabled merchant support tools beyond India.

Encouraged by the early adoption, the company has set an ambitious target of facilitating over 500,000 AI-driven interactions across global markets by the end of 2026.

Vera currently supports merchants across more than 25 business categories, including restaurants, retail, grocery, healthcare, beauty, and education.

By delivering real-time business intelligence and operational recommendations, the AI assistant aims to improve efficiency and enhance customer service across industries.
