Nikhil Kamath, Kishore Biyani Launch The Foundery
Zerodha co-founder has unveiled The Foundery, a platform for emerging startups in India, in collaboration with Future Group CEO Kishore Biyani.
The 90-day residential program integrates aspects of a school, accelerator, and venture studio, assisting aspiring entrepreneurs in launching their businesses through an immersive journey from idea creation to investment preparedness, also providing an opportunity to acquire a 25 percent equity stake in the venture.
"An acquaintance of mine remarked that expensive MBAs could be a poor choice, so here’s an alternative; if you’re among the fortunate ones selected, you receive all the resources necessary to create a consumer brand while paying no tuition fees, plus you gain the funding and expertise to launch your brand," Nikhil Kamath mentioned in a post on X, revealing the program’s launch.
The Foundery will choose 30 co-founders and endorse the concepts of 20 ventures throughout its 90-day residency program in Alibaug.
Applicants must submit a fee of Rs.5,000 to apply for the program, with applications accepted until mid-January 2026.

The initiative also guarantees support even after the three-month The Foundery project concludes. Even if a business loses its way or fails to launch at some point, the co-founders can collaborate with mentors to reconstruct and adjust the idea, and are “always supported”
