Ride-hailing platform Ola has implemented a zero percent commission model nationwide, enabling over a million driver partners to fully retain their fare earnings with no ride or income limits.

As part of the initiative, drivers have the option to select their plan and retain the entire fare without any deductions or limits, according to a company statement. This nationwide rollout, which is currently in effect, includes autos, bikes, and cabs, providing drivers with unlimited earning potential.

The introduction of the zero per cent commission model across India signifies a major change in the ride-hailing industry. Eliminating commissions grants driver partners greater ownership and opportunities. A spokesperson emphasized that driver partners are essential to the mobility ecosystem, stating that giving them full control over their earnings will foster a more robust and sustainable ride-hailing network throughout the country.

The company prioritizes passenger safety and adheres to strict safety measures, including background checks for drivers, quality standards for vehicles, and emergency features within the app.
