Philippe Dintrans Takes Charge as Vice President of Wipro iDEAS

Wipro, a homegrown global information technology, consulting and business process services company, has appointed Philippe Dintrans, former Industries Consulting Leader of Cognizant, for the role of Vice President and Head, Domain and Consulting, of Wipro’s iDEAS (Integrated Digital, Engineering and Application Services), business.

Dintrans will be based in Boston and will report to Rajan Kohli, President ofWipro iDEAS, Wipro Limited. He is known to stem with leading roles from leading companies such as McKinsey, Booz Allen and Hamilton and Morgan Stanley.

Dintrans has a proven record of delivering end-to-end business solutions, steering customers to optimal results and lending a global perspective on business and technology disruptions, customer trends and industry convergence issues. He has led numerous large consulting engagements, covering business, digital and IT transformation and change management for major clients.

Wipro had renovated its business into two global business lines, which include iDEAS and Integrated Cloud Infrastructure, Digital Operations, Risk and Enterprise Cyber Security Services that are abbreviated as iCORE, which is headed by Nagendra Bandaru as its President.

Furthermore, the company had redesigned its business across nine geographies to reflect four Strategic Market Units (SMUs) which include America one and two, Europe and Asia Pacific Middle East Africa (APMEA) while falling in line to CEO Thierry Delaporte’s strategy.
