Markets regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) announces the launch of the ‘Cyber Suraksha Portal’, a centralized platform aimed at strengthening cybersecurity awareness and information sharing across the securities market.

The new portal will serve as a one-stop hub for cybersecurity-related information, bringing together regulatory updates, vulnerability warnings and insights from cybersecurity incidents. SEBI said the platform has been developed to provide market participants with timely and relevant information to help them better understand and respond to emerging cyber threats.

“This platform provides a comprehensive, centralized hub for the securities market to share crucial knowledge and disseminate information regarding cybersecurity,” SEBI says.

Through the portal, market participants will be able to directly access the latest cybersecurity circulars issued by the regulator. The platform will also provide vulnerability warnings, enabling stakeholders to stay informed about potential security risks that could affect systems, networks and digital infrastructure.

In addition, the portal will feature insights from cybersecurity incidents, providing market participants with information that can help them understand emerging threats and strengthen their preparedness.
