
Tata Communications Wins Multi Crore Project

Tata Communications declared that the Ministry of Finance has granted it a strategic project to provide an extensive digital infrastructure for the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) benches.
The initiatives, covering network infrastructure, IoT, cloud, and security, with integrated management across areas, is described as a multi-crore endeavor establishing Tata Communications as a reliable technology ally for vital national projects.
Through the project, Tata Communications will provide a secure, scalable, and intelligent network of solutions for the GSTAT.
The digital framework — encompassing LAN, WAN, SDWAN, video conferencing, cloud services, and enhanced security — will support the tribunal’s functions.

The GST Appellate Tribunal serves as a specialized appellate court to resolve disputes related to GST, featuring a main bench located in New Delhi along with 31 state benches.
The updated digital system will enable the tribunal to:
• Speed up and optimize the complete operations of GSTAT.
• Guarantee smooth access to all GSTAT benches throughout the country
• Protect the tribunal's data transfer and maintain operational security.
• Provide a streamlined and effortless user experience
"The initiative aims to automate processes, improve transparency, and greatly boost efficiency through predictive analytics and chatbots, resulting in a robust and future-proof digital ecosystem." The firm stated in a regulatory document that "this combined infrastructure."
