Tata Consultancy Services revealed a worldwide strategic alliance with Anthropic, the leading AI firm behind Claude, to assist clients in expanding enterprise AI implementation.

TCS will establish a specialized Business Unit aimed at providing significant customer value offerings, collaborative industry solutions, and extensive AI knowledge on the Claude model family by gaining early access to Claude models.

In regulated sectors, many AI projects remain stuck at the pilot phase, where the standards for precision, auditability, and supervision are notably stricter, and the repercussions of mistakes are considerably greater.

This collaboration aims to break through those obstacles. By merging TCS' governance, control measures, and implementation skills, companies will be able to confidently utilize Claude in production rather than solely in experimental phases.

TCS, as a Global Premier Partner in the Claude Partner Network, will deliver Claude models to businesses seeking precision, comprehensive integration, durability, and robust governance. By integrating scaled internal deployment, collaborative go-to-market solutions, co-innovation within the industry, and workforce empowerment, the alliance provides clients with a tangible route to company-wide implementation and quantifiable results.

TCS will provide 50,000 employees in engineering, finance, legal, marketing, and sales with Claude via enterprise-wide licensing. By implementing Claude within the organization, TCS will acquire direct experience to enhance its operations while utilizing those insights to promote client success.

K Krithivasan, CEO and MD, TCS says, “Enterprise AI value comes from understanding business context, orchestrating complex systems, and applying deep AI engineering talent. By combining Claude with our industry expertise, engineering rigor, and large-scale transformation capabilities, we will help customers move faster to production, especially in industries where trust, resilience, and regulatory discipline are critical. This partnership reflects TCS’ broader strategy to help clients become perpetually adaptive enterprises by turning frontier AI into transformation at enterprise scale.”
