
TCS Ranked Third Most Valued IT Company In The World


Bengaluru, India – January 07, 2020: According to the report by Brand Finance, Tata Consultancy Service has ranked third most valued Information Technology Brand all over the world. Accenture and IBM are in the first and second position respectively. TCS, HCL, Wipro and Infosys are in the top ten ranking list of most valued IT Brands globally.
Accenture is the top most ranking list among all other nominated IT companies for world’s most valued IT service brands. This position was taken by IBM in the previous year and now it ranks in the second position with a brand value of 20.4 billion
according to the recent report by Brand Finance.
According to Brand Finance, TCS is also considered as the first Indian IT service to accomplish victory in Japanese market and has placed as a head in giving a superior comprehensive customer service, leveraging AI and robotic automation through its revolution programme. This is the first time Wipro is entering the top ten ranked list of most valued IT service brand globally. Wipro’s important share in digital transformation has pushed it to be the third rapid growing brand in the division.
India’s Infosys brand valued up to 8 per cent to 6.5 billion and American brand Cognizant valued up to 12 per cent to 8.7 billion is respectively in the fourth and fifth position according to their last years ranking by Brand Finance.
“2018 was a year of celebrations at TCS, making the completion of five decades of industry-leading customer satisfaction, business performance and community impact,” TCS Chief Marketing Officer Ravi Vishwanathan said in a statement. He also mentioned about the record breaking milestone for TCS in reaching 100 billion in market capitalisation and securing new partnership in digital service.
TCS is the largest market capitalization company in India and the service is placed in the most valuable Information Technology service brands throughout the world. The company primarily started as Tata Computer System founded in the year 1968. TCS became a publicly listed company in 2004. Later in 2005, the company was considered as the first Indian based IT Service Company to enter into the bioinformatics market.
