VMware Unveils New Multi-Cloud Services

VMware Inc, a US based leading software company, embarks on a mission to enable customers to grasp the power of multi-cloud and deliver modern applications, through the unveiling of its new VMware Cloud.

VMware Cloud is a multi-cloud and distributed platform that helps businesses to modernize applications faster in the data center, at the edge and in every cloud. The platform offers distinctive benefits that serve helpful in tackling forced tradeoffs faced by both IT operators as well as developers.

The platform helps improve developer productivity which in turn helps them to build and deploy on any cloud. Further, organizations can use the platform to modernize their infrastructure in a cost-efficient and less hazardous manner.

With that said, the company is set towards delivering an enhanced integrated experience to its customers by releasing fresh offerings which include:

VMware Cloud Universal: Simplifies the process of purchase and consumption of VMware multi-cloud infrastructure and management services through a flexible subscription. It also helps construct better economics, simplifies operations and quickens app modernization

VMware Cloud Console: Presents a single monitoring and management environment for VMware Cloud infrastructure regardless of where it is deployed.

VMware App Navigator: a new offering for assessing and prioritizing app transformation
initiatives across an entire application estate based on the value of each app.

Also, the company establishes 'Modular, Multi-Cloud Services for all Applications, Everywhere’, indicating that VMware Cloud can be used as platform for both on-premises and cloud with unified security and operations that supports traditional and modern applications, connects all native cloud services and accomplishes the requirements of developers as well as IT operators. Customers can now benefit from the flexibility of a single cloud operating model for their multi-cloud reality, as well as portability to help minimize the challenges that single cloud silos present.

Furthermore, customers can deploy apps to VMware Cloud Foundation on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, and Oracle Cloud; VMware Cloud on Dell EMC; and hundreds of VMware Cloud Verified partners using VMware Cloud.
