The IT giant’s achievement of the AWS Mainframe Migration Competency distinguishes it as an AWS Partner with a successful track record and deep domain experience in mainframe workload migration.

The AWS Partner Network (APN) plays a key role in these efforts by providing consumers with access to mature technology products and services from AWS Partners with established solutions and experience for mainframe migrations.

The AWS Mainframe Migration Competency was created to assist customers in identifying and engaging AWS Partners who excel in mainframe migration.

To achieve the AWS Mainframe Migration Competency, these AWS Partners are vetted, validated, and verified against a high bar. The high bar ensures that AWS Partners with AWS Mainframe Migration Competency status have mature strategies and procedures, as well as repeatable mainframe migration performance.

From startups to multinational businesses, AWS is enabling scalable, versatile, and cost-effective solutions. AWS developed the AWS Competency Program to assist customers in identifying AWS Partners with deep industry knowledge and expertise to facilitate the smooth integration and implementation of these solutions.

As a lot of companies are utilizing agile services of AWS services to migrate and modernize mainframes, he assured that Wipro’s mature solutions combined with AWS’ proven track record of mainframe migration success, would enable many customers to modernize their mainframe workloads.

Previously, the company partnered with Amazon Web Services to form Wipro AWS Business Group (WABG). The new unit will focus on assisting customers in accelerating their cloud transition journeys on AWS. Customers may also use the Wipro AWS Launch Pad to help them with their company transformation initiatives.
