Wipro & AWS Launch Joint Venture 'Wipro AWS Business Group'

Wipro Limited a home grown, leading global information technology, consulting, and business process services company, joins forces with Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) to launch a new business venture, Wipro AWS Business Group (WABG). The new unit will be dedicated to help customers fast-track their cloud transformation journey on AWS. Additionally, customers can leverage the Wipro AWS Launch Pad to facilitate their business transformation programs.

With the launch WABG, the tech major duo looks forward to amalgamating Wipro’s diverse industry experience and comprehensive portfolio of services with AWS’s industry-leading cloud platforms.

According to the reports, WABG will be home to more than 10,000 AWS-certified consultants, along with specialized teams focusing on business development, talent creation, solution development, and delivery execution. The news is of little surprise to the industry, considering the recent collaborations between Wipro and AWS.

By establishing the Wipro AWS Business Group, we are taking an important step forward in the long-standing relationship between the two companies.
