Wipro Limited, a leading global information technology, consulting and business process services firm, confirmed that its partnership with Citrix Systems, Inc., and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has been expanded. The partnership will provide businesses with a solid solution that will speed up remote working and modernize workspaces.

Its goal is to assist clients in accelerating their digital transformation efforts and in working towards the creation of a resilient business that will flourish as a hybrid workplace in the new normal.

The solution provides a cohesive experience for companies by providing a streamlined system. This can be accomplished by a subscription-based pay-per-use platform that is agile, scalable, and has a seamless cloud experience.

Through HPE GreenLake cloud services, the partnership will use Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktop Services with a zero-trust security strategy, as well as HPE's purpose-built Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), to handle workloads and build stable, high-performance virtual compute environments.

Arwa Kaddoura, Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Go To Market, HPE GreenLake stated that, “a key element of any VDI implementation is ensuring a customer’s platform supports the workload they are running. With HPE GreenLake for VDI, we are offering customers a broad portfolio of secure VDI infrastructure solutions to match specific use cases or workloads. And now, through our joint solution with Wipro we will help customers address their most immediate challenges and unexpected demands”.

“We are excited to collaborate with Citrix and HPE to further enhance the value we create for our customers. This integration strengthens our complementary capabilities in virtualization tools and platforms, desktop and application integration, as well as workplace management services. Together, we will equip enterprises to enhance employee experiences and build a collaborative, intelligent, flexible and sustainable workspace that helps them achieve transformative outcomes”, said Satish Y, Vice President, iCORE - Cloud and Infrastructure Services, Wipro Limited.

To maintain market continuity, the combination of advanced solutions and architecture will completely facilitate the creation of new interactive workspaces with flexible commercial models.

“Businesses are feeling forced to introduce stable, remote work solutions for their workers in response to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis and the resulting new normal”, added Kaddoura.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way the world works. Remote work has become the standard for many companies, and together with Wipro and HPE, Citrix can deliver a powerful digital workspace in a trusted and secure public cloud where employees can access everything they need to get work done and perform at their best wherever they happen to be”, said Sachin Menon, Vice President, Global Strategic Partners, Citrix.

Wipro's Desktop as a Service platform, virtuades, and Wipro's Digital Workspace solution will be integrated with Citrix and HPE's services.

Accelerators for cloud readiness assessment, cloud migration, and application life cycle management are available from Wipro virtuadesk. Furthermore, virtuadesk makes it possible to take advantage of the advantages that come with AI, robotics, the Internet of Things, increased agility, and advanced analytics.

Through simplified IT, this provides an environment for increased employee participation and teamwork. With 24/7 access to applications and results, Virtuadesk also improves workplace productivity and usability.
