
Wipro Welcomes Jasjit Singh Kang into iCORE

IT service and consulting firm Wipro appoints Jasjit Singh Kang as the new head of Digital Operations and Platforms (DOP) of iCORE (Integrated Cloud Infrastructure, Digital Operations, Risk and Enterprise Cyber Security Services) business.
Kang joined Wipro in 2018 as part of the alight acquisition and played a vital role in integrating the business and leading the Asia Pacific operations. In his new role, he would focus on driving delivery operations and business growth and he would report to Nagendra Bandaru, Managing Partner - iCORE, Wipro.
Besides, Kang has worked across companies like Genpact, WNS and AON and spent seven years in banking at Citibank, Bank of America and ANZ Grindlays.

Wipro was incorporated on 29 December 1945 in India, by Mohamed Premji as Western India Products, later abbreviated to Wipro. It was initially set up as a manufacturer of vegetable and refined oils in Amalner, Maharashtra, British India, under the trade names of Kisan, Sunflower, and Came.
