Engineers who engage in MEP are expected to work closely with architects as well as owners in all the steps of execution in design and operational processes. While choosing the right MEP partner in India, one has to be sure of the services they offer in order to fulfil the requirements of today and the needs of tomorrow with efficiency. With the right expertise to venture into the niche space, Rajesh Gupte (Managing Director) layout the plan for AART Integrated Projects to provide construction and MEP solutions for buildings. Under his guidance, the company has earned reliability among companies in India and abroad.

Today business cannot run without technological assistance. Please brief us how AART Integrated Projects flexes its muscles to help organizations in building their endeavour.
AART’s multi-disciplinary expertise that caters to Cleanroom, HVAC, IBMS, Electrical Process Systems, instrumentation, and controls help clients get all the services under single roof. This has given AART the opportunity to collaborate and set benchmarks with some of the leading Fortune 500 companies.

Our team has a lot of international work experience spanning over Europe, Middle East Asia, North America, Singapore and Malaysia. It has given us a deep insight on the international business standards, latest technologies, work culture, and product qualities. The highly trained Indian resources are put to use on International projects while we try to incorporate the latest international technology and top end products, practices for projects in India.

The infrastructure bounds to

fundamental facilities and systems that equip an organization. How do you think your crucial role within the organization has helped AART to serve to the demands of customers?
Communication plays a crucial role in letting us to cater to the needs of our client with maximum efficiency and productivity. To bring the true meaning out of ‘AART office is where AART employee is’, I was able to set up a Design Office in India that caters solely to our German clients. I have pushed boundaries to lead a futuristic view on upcoming technology trends by closely working with companies in design, product development, and engineering. Thus it made us the most suitable partner for Indian clients who are looking for Hi-tech solutions. By keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies, I have provided a space for AART to stay ahead of the curve in the technology domain and proactively meet and exceed clients’ expectations.

As you aforementioned, staying up-to-date in the technology domain is apposite to the conventional circumstances of business operations. Being a tech entrepreneur, how do you perceive the barricades of evolving enterprises and find solutions?
Many small companies approach us, since we have established ourselves in the Indian market as a ‘Go to Company for Advance Technology needs’ company. I prefer the method of understanding the needs of the project, and make an appropriate proposal suitable to client’s budget.

Some of the large companies have their existing way of operation, which becomes difficult for their employees to adapt new concepts. I have formulated a solution for that by conducting workshops for such companies to train their employees on the changing trends and also how to upgrade their systems and procedures in order to come abreast to international levels.

I believe that AART is the link between large scale international companies and Indian companies. There are a lot of facts that I have perceived all along the years while being at the managerial position in AART. Many Indian companies are seeking high-tech solutions at reasonable pricing, whereas the international companies require highly trained resources who understand their design and execution

standards. I consider AART to possess a thorough understanding of international as well as local projects in order to link between both of them. AART has proven to be a right partner for both Indian companies and international companies.

Could you please share one significant achievement that strikes you when you look back to the years of endeavour in serving businesses through your managerial intervention?
In 2014, a leading Indian pharma company was facing issues with frequent failures of Grade ‘A’ area which was causing loss of production and financial losses. They approached a German company Exyte Technologies GmbH for a Hi-tech solution. Exyte booked the project which involved design and implementing advance technology solution which was never used in India earlier. However, Exyte management was concerned whether they could find someone in India to execute the project as per their standards or not. The German top management came to know about AART’s German and Indian presence from colleagues and approached us. As our team has already worked internationally, we were selected to execute the Project. Both the client and the German company were impressed with our thorough understanding of their products, systems and overall implementation of the project.

By having a clear idea about the market scenario, an entrepreneur has to be vigilant of the upcoming trend and future of their company. How do you observe the pace in which AART gears for the upcoming years?
As a company that established in the year 2004, I anticipate the position of AART, among the top three Cleanroom project companies and the largest microelectronics Cleanroom Solutions Company in India by 2020-21. I am also certain about raising the bar of AART to the best international solutions’ & project Management Company, and to provide direct employment to at least 500 individuals in India within the next five years.
