With plans of bringing electric vehicles (EV) in India this month, the grandeur automobile maker, Audi India announced a series of ownership plans for its electric sports utility vehicles namely the e-tron 50, e-tron 55, and e-tron sportsback 55.

The grandeur automobile maker specified that its e-tron will be offered with tailored plans that include service plans, extended warranties, roadside support, and a buyback program.

In line with these ownership plans, the grandeur automobile maker offers a variety of service plans ranging from two to five years. A two-year regular warranty plus an eight-year or 160,000 km high-voltage battery guarantee, whichever comes first. The extended warranty choices are available for 2+2 years or 2+3 years, according to the company.

Customers can choose between four and five year Comprehensive Service Plans, depending on the scheme they prefer. According to the company, the Comprehensive Service Plan covers the price of service and periodic maintenance for the brakes, suspension, and extended warranty.

After-sales servicing will be essential, and we are happy to offer these tailored programs that will go a long way in enriching our customers' EV experience, said Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head, Audi India.

The head of Audi India further stated that “customer-centricity is at the heart of the company's plans, and that customers can enjoy the exhilarating experience of the Audi e-tron without worrying about servicing or residual value if they choose these packages. To ensure the efficient servicing of the EVs, Audi authorized trainers have trained manpower across the Audi network”

When customers decide to upgrade or sell their Audi e-tron 50, Audi e-tron 55, or Audi e-tron Sportback 55 in the future, Audi India claims that it will to be giving the best-in-class buyback for the e-tron, with customers guaranteed a lucrative buyback price up to three years from the date of purchase.

There will also be a free five-year Roadside Assistance plan with company-trained assistance available on call.

Since the Indian government has stated to bring in more EVs into the market to slow down the pollution and lessen oil imports, luxury automobile makers have taken it upon this opportunity to unleash more EVs of their own respect. Last year, Mercedes-Benz introduced the EQC electric vehicle. Volvo, a Swedish automaker, also intends to launch a number of electric vehicles in the future.

The head of Audi India further stated that “customer-centricity is at the heart of the company's plans, and that customers can enjoy the exhilarating experience of the Audi e-tron without worrying about servicing or residual value if they choose these packages. To ensure the efficient servicing of the EVs, Audi authorized trainers have trained manpower across the Audi network”.

Given the drastic challenges currently present in the market, the grandeur automobile maker decided to face the circumstances by growing in double digits by the end of the year.

For the next 12 months, there will be more than a half-dozen product launches planned and it plans on covering practically every market segment, including volume, sports, and niche.
