Google Launches an Updated Version of its Gemini AI
Google launched an updated version of its Gemini AI suite aimed at online retail, aiming to facilitate smooth interactions for shoppers from product searches to customer support.
According to Google, Gemini Enterprise for Customer Experience (CX) will "utilize intricate reasoning to comprehend intent and perform multi-step actions for a customer while considering their preferences and consent."
This will allow users to shop and engage with customer service while remaining in the Google application.
As customers persist in utilizing the tool, they will receive product suggestions that align with their preferences from businesses that have embraced Google's updated protocols.
The internet search powerhouse announced it has finalized contracts with well-known US franchises like Papa John's pizza outlets, Lowe's home improvement retail, and major supermarket chains Walmart and Kroger.
"We're collaborating to tailor each interaction, streamline every choice, and eliminate obstacles at customer contact points," stated Kevin Vasconi, Papa John's chief digital and technology officer.
