“We are delighted to welcome Jill to our leadership team, as she brings a wealth of experience in areas ranging from purpose articulation and global brand building to demand generation and sales enablement”, added Vijayakumar.

What Kouri brings to the company is about 30 years' worth experience from the corporate and agency B2B services. Along with a seven-year stint as Chief Marketing Officer, Americas, at JLL.

Prior to that, she worked at Accenture for 14 years, rising through the ranks of marketing leadership.

Kouri expressed that, “HCL is at a critical point in its journey, having reached the $10 billion revenue mark, and I am excited to lead the efforts to create more widespread brand awareness and affinity, all while driving a very strong growth agenda”.

The company has been witnessing a lot of changes with its big one being the elevation its founder Shiv Nadar to the role Chairman of Emeritus and Strategic Advisor to its board.

As for its cloud domain, it has placed Siki Giunta to head its cloud consulting and offerings strategy. Giunta is said to be in charge of accelerating the adoption of #HCLCloudSmart industry cloud offerings into client markets.

Similar to Kouri, Giunta also brings experience from Accenture, where she functioned as CEO of Managed Objects and Fortisphere. She has effectively scaled enterprise-grade Hybrid Cloud, Data Center, and Hosting businesses as a Software Products Business Leader.

Back to Kouri, she is a strong advocate and driver of purpose and diversity and inclusion initiatives. She serves on the board of FGM Architects and is involved in a number of non-profit organizations, including Dress for Success, where she serves on the Midwest Advisory Council.

Kouri holds an APR (Accreditation in Public Relations) certification from the Public Relations Society of America and a bachelor's degree in journalism from Bowling Green State University.

“While I was familiar with HCL Technologies at a high level, I was completely in awe of the organization’s rich history, culture and focus on innovation and entrepreneurial mindset,” Kouri said.

Kouri expressed that, “HCL is at a critical point in its journey, having reached the $10 billion revenue mark, and I am excited to lead the efforts to create more widespread brand awareness and affinity, all while driving a very strong growth agenda”.
