This week, Microsoft India declared the top three winning teams of the coding hackathon were from Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Wipro, and IndusNet, based on their innovation and impact.

According to the company, over a million developers took part in the program to earn Microsoft certifications.

Moreover, developers also participated in a nationwide hackathon to ‘Innovate for India's Growth’ as part of the program.

The winner teams are anticipated to earn cash prizes and special invitations to the January 5 Future Ready Technology Summit in Bangalore.

Ambarish Ganguly of TCS took first place, the company reported. He used Azure Cognitive Services and AI to design an agriculture hub that acts as a one-stop shop for farmers, helping them grow better crops, increase yield, and improve the quality of their lives with a cutting-edge and user-friendly smart solution.

The program, which was introduced in December 2022, gave developers industry-recognized skills and competences in digital and cloud technologies.

The two-person Wipro team that finished in second place developed a cutting-edge smart-search solution employing Azure Cognitive Search Service to demonstrate how to optimize search operations and increase employee engagement, productivity, and operational expenses.

The third-placed team from IndusNet, which consisted of five developers, used Azure IoT Services to design a Smart Commercial Vehicle Tracking System. Fleet management firms may increase productivity and maximize their return on investment thanks to the system's real-time monitoring of moving cars, according to the company.

A blogathon was also held as part of the program, which included developers from the ITES, consultancy, financial services, manufacturing, and startup industries. The blogathon competition's winning blogs will be highlighted on the Microsoft Azure website.

Microsoft's partners and customers backed the Future Ready Champions of Code program since they intended to take advantage of the chance to hasten the growth of developer team competencies. Government and business partners like AICTE, NASSCOM, ICT Academy, and Foundit also provided support for the program.
