Using OpenAI's latest GPT-4 generative artificial intelligence model, Microsoft released a solution to assist cyber security professionals in identifying breaches, threat signals, and better analyzing data.

The 'Security Copilot' tool is a basic prompt box that will assist security analysts with activities such as incident summarization, vulnerability analysis, and sharing information with coworkers on a pinboard.

The assistant will make use of Microsoft's security-specific model, which the company describes as a developing set of security-specific skills that is fed over 65 trillion signals every day.

The announcement comes amid a flurry of initiatives by Microsoft to integrate AI into its most popular products.

Additionally, CIO Insider recently revealed that at its 'Future of Work' event, Microsoft launched Microsoft 365 Copilot, which enhances workspace productivity capabilities with the use of generative AI. By leveraging the power of Big Language Models, Microsoft Graph, and Microsoft 365 apps, the Copilot creates the most profitable solutions for both individual and business needs.

The company has attempted to outperform competitors by making multibillion-dollar investments in ChatGPT owner OpenAI, which recently released GPT-4 to execute a variety of jobs ranging from developing a real website from a hand-drawn mock up to assisting individuals in calculating their taxes

According to Microsoft, Copilot will be integrated into the apps in two ways: passively while you work and actively when needed.

The 365 apps, according to Microsoft, will be incorporated with Copilot, which will optimize the apps to collaborate with you and assist you in completing tasks as you move through your workflow.

Users no longer have to worry about writer's block when producing, revising, or summarizing text in Word, owing to the most recent version of Copilot. Surprisingly, the Copilot empowers the user and keeps them in the spotlight.

PowerPoint users will be able to create presentations using simple instructions and everyday terminology. Sumit Chauhan, Microsoft's corporate vice president, claims that most users only use 10 percent of PowerPoint's capabilities.

Yet, with the updated Copilot, clients will be able to fully enjoy the app's remaining 90% of functionality. The Copilot can assist customers in creating engaging presentations by doing everything from locating relevant photos to developing slides.
