OpenAI has formed a strategic partnership with Infosys to incorporate its AI tools, such as Codex, into Infosys's Topaz AI platform, as both companies aim to expand enterprise use of AI.

Infosys stated that the integration will assist clients in modernizing software development, automating processes, and deploying AI systems on a large scale. The primary areas of concentration consist of software development, upgrading outdated systems, and DevOps practices.

The collaboration arises as Indian IT service companies are managing reduced client expenditure amid swift developments in generative AI. Infosys stock has dropped more than 22 percent this year due to worries that AI may automate some aspects of conventional outsourcing tasks, coupled with wider macroeconomic challenges associated with the U.S.-Iran situation.

With this agreement, OpenAI taps into Infosys's worldwide client base in over 60 nations, establishing a distribution pathway for its AI technologies. Both companies stated that the goal is to assist organizations in transitioning from experimentation to widespread implementation.
