Xiaomi's Redmi brand is set to debut its first 5G phone in India on July 20th, following Mi and has announced that the phone would be named as the Redmi Note 10T 5G.

The brand had already launched Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10S, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max which are the four Redmi Note 10 seriessmartphones that have been released in India so far and are priced at Rs.12,000 and Rs.22,000.

The new 5G-ready phone includes MediaTek Dimensity 700 system-on-chip, a 90Hz IPS LCD display, 48MP triple back cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery.

The Redmi Note 10T 5G, rebranded Redmi Note 10 5G, is already on the market in various European markets. Since the Redmi Note 10 5G was never released in India, it's probable that the phone is brand new.

Xiaomi has already launched a special microsite to show off the next smartphone's design ahead of its formal launch. The design appears to be much different from that of the Poco M3 Pro 5G. The Redmi Note 10T 5G, on the other hand, resembles the Redmi Note 10 Pro variants that were released in March of this year.

This Redmi Note 10T 5G will rival against Realme 8 5G and Narzo 30 5G, just like the Poco M3 Pro 5G.

A 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, as well as a 2-megapixel macro shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, are housed in the triple rear camera setup. A front-facing 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.0 lens is also included in the smartphone.

Specifications of Redmi Note 10T 5G, Redmi Note 10 5G and Poco M3 Pro 5G
Xiaomi has not yet published the phone's specifications, but based on the global variant, the Redmi Note 10T 5G should have a 6.5-inch full-HD+ display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The smartphone will most likely be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor with up to 6GB of RAM. The phone will most likely run Android 11 with MIUI on top.

Xiaomi is expected to keep the fingerprint scanner on the side and include a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging capabilities. The phone should have a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C charging port.

It would be amusing to watch how Xiaomi promotes the Redmi Note 10T 5G in terms of cost. It recently raised the prices of a few Note 10 phones, possibly to make room for the Redmi Note 10T 5G. In India, it's possible that the device may cost between Rs.15,000 and Rs.20,000. The official pricing, on the other hand, will be revealed at the launch.
