NtechLab, a global pioneer in video analytics, made its foray into India with the launch of FindFace Multi, a new solution that recognizes people’s faces and shadows in real-time video streams.

The technology thoroughly counts individuals, compares faces to monitoring databases, and alerts the user when a match is found.

NtechLab's expansion into India is part of a larger strategic business decision and worldwide growth strategy focused at capturing new markets in the Gulf, Latin America, and South Asia.

Whether a person has a beard, spectacles, or a medical mask, face recognition technology can discern emotions. FindFace Multi's capacity to support an endless number of video streams and face database entries is a standout feature, ensuring the system's scalability. A suspect can be filmed, discovered, and tracked in a split second using an intelligent criteria-based face search.

The type of body, color, manufacturer, and model of the car, as well as license plates, are all determined by vehicle recognition. Even if license plates or other parts of the car are not visible, the method works.

Users can count, search, and track motions with great precision using silhouette recognition. When detecting outwardly similar people, the system considers height, clothing color, and accessories to identify individuals. This function can be used to determine the number of visits to shopping centers and other commercial locations, for example.

“We presently have partners all around India, and we are searching for more,” says Liana Meliksetyan, NtechLab's International Commercial Director.

"India is a very important country for our business portfolio and it will significantly expand our presence in the growing field of video analytics.FindFace Multiis of serious interest to our clients and potential customers in India, as there is nothing else like it. Cameras can be configured for different types of objects, and at the same time one camera can process several different types of objects at once”, says Andrei Telenkov, CEO, NtechLab.

Meliksetyan further went on to say that, “NtechLab's products have proven to be extremely beneficial in a variety of domains, including security, retail, banking, and other industries. Clients include smart cities and governments around the world who want to keep their cities safe, as well as commercial organisations and clients who want to gain a competitive advantage from the detailed audience insights our software can deliver”.

NtechLab, a world-renowned expert in video analytics solutions using neural networks, was founded in 2015. The company's product is exceptionally effective in track and trace activities, with over 100,000 cameras in 30 countries worldwide connected to NtechLab's facial recognition and less than 1 second necessary to execute each query.

During the 2018 World Cup in Russia, more than 180 wanted criminals and ruffians were apprehended using NtechLab technology, whereas the facial recognition system in Moscow was only deployed in a test mode and only at sporting event entrances.

Recently, 200 infectious quarantine violators were caught in Moscow within the first two weeks of a shutdown. Two sovereign wealth funds from Russia and the Middle East invested $15 million in NtechLab in 2020.

The new FindFace Multi algorithm won first place in the US Department of Commerce's National Institute of Standards and Technology's Face Recognition Vendor Test competition.
The award acknowledged its doubling of accuracy when identifying faces without masks and a tenfold increase in accuracy when identifying masked people.
