
Wipro Appoints Subha Tatavarti as CTO

Subha Tatavarti was made Chief Technology Officer (CTO) by Wipro Limited, the leading global provider of information technology, consultancy and business process services. Tatavarti will head Wipro Service Transformation and Open Innovation and Foreign Research teams, Topcoder, Robotics, SVIC, TechnovativeCenter.
Tatavarti is joining Wipro of Walmart where she manages Enterprise Infrastructure software creation, application development and sales along with the platform’s security, data science and edge. Tatavarti has over 20 years of technological expertise including product creation, supply, lifecycle management, cloud storage, computer technology and analytics.
She headed the PAYPAL Product, Data & Infrastructure Platform before Walmart. Her emphasis was on driving transition via scalable interoperable platforms powered by APIs. Her product range included Notebook driven systems for machine learning and artificial intelligence platforms, Data integration tool, Data Catalog and ALM data. In addition to innovative modernization efforts through cloud, developer channels and systems, she has played a key role in simplifying data and analysis technology.

Suzanne Dann has also been appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Sector for Capital Markets and Insurance in the field of North America. Dann will be based in New Jersey and report to Angan Guha, Chief Executive Officer, Americas 2. Wipro has declared that in a separate statement Dann has joined Wipro from Avanade, a joint venture between Accenture and Microsoft where she was Corporate Vice President and Managing Director.
Sometime earlier, Sarah Adam-Gedge was appointed Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), who will concentrate mostly on Wipro's different strategic growth initiatives, sales production, customer relations, talent development, business building and industry ties.
