Hero Lectro Cargo, the load carrier electric-bicycle arm of Hero Electric introduced electric cycles the same few months ago, it has now opened its first showroom specifically built for e-bikes in Delhi. But a few days back the same nationwide capital became the second cloud data region under Google Cloud India.

In light of most deliveries being delivered through two-wheeler transport systems like those of Swiggy, Zomato and Dunzo for instance, Hero Lectro Cargo sees it fit to have those deliveries done in an eco-friendly and cost-effective manner.

The company feels that e-cargo has the ability to spur the home delivery and goods mobility sectors by providing cost-effective, reliable, eco-friendly, and ergonomically viable options for short-distance but high-density commuting.

This comes after considering the enormous amount of fossil fuel consumption being pumped up from the planet is not only causing depletion in natural resources, but depletion of money in wallets as well. Since the price for these fuels is mostly increasing, hence it’s on a continuous fluctuation wheel and this could effortlessly wreck havoc on the country’s economy. Therefore, a lot of transportation manufacturing companies are working towards providing more environmentally as well as economically safer transportation systems.

“Hero Lectro Cargo aims to capitalize on these untapped potential self-employed employees in the last-mile supply service, and small business owners could derive significant earnings and cost benefits from these purpose-built automobiles as compared to the ICE engine two-wheelers currently in use,” Choudhary explained.

Speaking of transport, one such ride-sharing firm named Ola, has introduced a new electric vehicle category in its app allowing passengers to request rides in fully electric electric vehicles. However, this option is available in London and will soon be made available to other cities around the world.

On the other hand, Ola has introduced electric two-wheeler scooters which are the new talks in town, especially around its mega electric two-wheeler manufacturing plant housed in Tamil Nadu.

Back to Hero Lectro Cargo, the company also has its own eco-friendly transport system that only deals with cargo bikes. These e-cargo vehicles such as WINN offer a swappable battery that can be charged using a standard plug, 180 litres of storage space, and a range of up to 75 km (obtainable in WINN X variant).

They also provide significant possibilities for increasing daily freight capacity and improving supply personnel cost optimization.

They are made to increase earning potential. With the lengthy trail and front carrier, there's plenty of room to transport stuff without exerting too much effort. It's built in such a way that it can increase income by doing things like freight transport and supermarket delivery in an environmentally friendly manner. Its purpose-built frame design allows it to carry and store more weight without losing equilibrium.

According to Partha Choudhary, president and chief government, Hero Lectro Cargo, e-commerce is a significant component of the Indian market, and research has shown that it is moving in the same direction as marketplaces in China and the US.
