This Year Apple's Tech Talks are Packed with 100 Live Sessions

To all the app and software developers and creators brewing efforts breathing life into various imaginations, Apple is bringing back its ‘Tech Talks’ starting October 25th this year. This program is on the house, yes this eight week program will be free of charge and thriving minds can feed on insights shared by experts from the company.

Only a few days back, the tech giant had held its 'Unleashed' event coming out with new products on the line such as AirPods, HomePod Mini, Macbook Pro among others. But most importantly, it set a milestone by devising its very own Mac processors, clearly declaring that it will no longer rely on the globally renowned chipmaker, Intel, for chips. Intel on the other hand, has clearly drawn its own strong future roadmap powerful enough to keep the chipmaker going beyond 2025.

Apple is directly targeting Intel's high-end chips with the new Chipsets and devices, which have been utilized in the MacBook Pro and other high-end Macs for the past 15 years.

Apple began switching its low-end Macs to its own M1 Apple Silicon chip last year. The new chips, on the other hand, take a more daring approach this time, aiming to outperform Intel's top-performing gadgets.

That’s that, and during Apple’s ‘Unleashed’ event the tech giant had brought out one peculiar product to the table which had the internet burst into an explosion of memes and trolls. Why? The tech giant’s product in question happens to be a ‘polishing cloth’ to clean the displays of its products. But the fact that this cloth is priced at such a rate that other similar polishing cloth can be purchased to a comparatively less price and more quantity, as that’s how pricey Apple has priced its cloth for.

Therefore, to appreciate all the developers and creators who are constantly innovating new products, apps and software for the company’s platform, the tech giant is kickstarting its Tech Talks again. Here, curious minds will not only have a group session, but one-on-one sessions arranged with the tech giant’s very own experts from the building.

“Every single day, developers around the world are creating incredible apps and games for our platforms, and it’s our goal to provide them with every resource we can to help make the hard work they put in that much easier and more impactful”, expresses Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations

One-On-One Conversations on Apple's Technologies, Designs, Coding, App Review and More
Apple hasn't hosted a developer ‘Tech Talk’ in a long time. Years ago, the company used to hold them on a fairly regular basis, but that ended in 2016. It appeared at the time, and by the next year, that Apple had no plans to bring them back. That was true for several years, but now it's 2021, and Apple has found a way forward with new developer negotiations.

The all-digital endeavor will begin on October 25, 2021, and will go until December 17, 2021. The classes are intended to provide developers with additional knowledge on Apple's attempts to assist developers in developing apps, including information about Apple APIs and other technologies. During the discussions, there will be over 100 live sessions, as well as over 1,500 accessible office hours.

Developers will be able to engage with one-on-one guidance, have their queries addressed, and delve into a wealth of technical information.

Like its WWDC20 (Worldwide Developer Conference) and WWDC21 event, Tech Talks will be conducted online as well.

Sessions will be held online in different time zones from Apple locations across the world, including Bangalore, India; Cupertino, California; London; Mexico City; So Paulo; Seoul, South Korea; Shanghai; Singapore; Sydney; Tel Aviv, Israel; and Tokyo. A live presentation by Apple experts is followed by a Q&A session in each session. In-depth technical information on integrating SwiftUI, App Clips, HealthKit, machine learning, augmented reality, accessibility features, and more are available to developers.

Developers also get the opportunity to learn about 5G, how to publish in-app events on the App Store, how to get the most out of the App Review process, and how to get started with enterprise development.

Developers will be able to interact directly with Apple experts to learn more about new technologies, ask questions, and receive one-on-one coaching at Tech Talks. They will also give developers a new option to give direct feedback to the Apple team about their experiences developing and distributing apps on the App Store.

Also, Apple’s team will open the club to Q&As after every session.

100 Live Sessions and 1,500 Office Hours for Eight Weeks
Apple's live sessions can assist developers in integrating the latest technology into their apps, learning techniques and best practice, and getting answers to their problems in a group setting. Registration is currently available to learn about machine learning, SwiftUI, and other topics. Sessions are limited as the company can respond to questions as quickly as possible. Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, and Spanish are all available in some sessions.

Then there are Office hours, which give developers the chance to meet with Apple specialists from App Review, Evangelism, App Store Connect, and Developer Technical Support for 30-minute one-on-one chats regarding their apps. Developers can pick a topic and ask questions on technology usage and adoption, design refining, problem solving, and understanding guidelines and tools. They can also give and receive feedback during office hours.

The Tech Talks 2021 sessions are free and open to all current Apple Developer Program and Apple Developer Enterprise Program members. Also, new sessions and office hour appointments are announced every two weeks, and registrations are now open as this article is being read.

Developers can build, test, market, and distribute their apps to over 1.5 billion Apple devices using a variety of cutting-edge tools and end-to-end assistance provided by Apple. Developers may build apps for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS using a wide range of free tools and frameworks, including software development kits (SDKs) and developer services with over 250,000 APIs.

“Every single day, developers around the world are creating incredible apps and games for our platforms, and it’s our goal to provide them with every resource we can to help make the hard work they put in that much easier and more impactful”, expresses Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations.

“Our team is looking forward to connecting with even more developers around the world so we can better support the important work of this incredibly valued community, and listen to and learn from them”.
